Full-time- requires on-site warehouse presence from 8 am- 4 pm EST Monday-Friday.
Position Summary:
Are you ready to join a team of industry-leading professionals whose mission is to help visitors make the most of their travel experience? CTM is seeking a full-time Warehouse Operations Manager. Our mission is to help visitors discover the travel information they need to plan their next adventure through our brochure stands and digital screens, which reach millions of visitors every year.
Responsibilities :
Serve as the primary operational resource for the Stamford team, overseeing driver communication, route coordination, inventory management, fleet operations, warehouse organization, receiving, inventory accuracy, and day-to-day operational support. This role will also provide backup driver route coverage as needed in the surrounding marketplaces ( including
NY, NYC, CT
) and support operational consistency across the organization. In addition to Stamford responsibilities, the position will work closely with other warehouses and lead drivers across multiple markets, assisting with inventory reviews, fleet tracking, operational follow-up, driver communication, route audits, and warehouse oversight.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse operations, fleet management, distribution, or a related operational environment. Prior experience coordinating drivers, routes, deliveries, or transportation operations. Experience with warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, organization, and maintaining inventory accuracy. Experience with fleet coordination or vehicle management, including tracking vehicle status, maintenance needs, inspections, and operational readiness. Strong communication and follow-up skills, with the ability to work effectively with drivers, warehouse teams, managers, and other internal stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple operational needs and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve inventory, routing, fleet, or operational discrepancies. Comfortable using operational software or inventory/fleet management systems. Ability to analyze operational information, conduct route or inventory audits, and identify opportunities for improvement. Willingness and ability to provide backup driver coverage when needed, with a valid driver's license and a safe driving record. Ability to travel or provide support to other warehouse locations and markets as operational needs require. Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on, can-do approach to supporting day-to-day operations. Customer-service mindset Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physical work (bending, loading, carrying materials). Tech-savvy and comfortable working with digital devices and basic troubleshooting. Forklift certified, a plus.
