Immediate About the Role GHD Logistics Inc. is looking for a hands‑on Distribution Manager (BC) to run the day‑to‑day performance of the terminal. This leader will oversee drivers, dispatch, safety, compliance, fleet readiness, and customer‑experience standards. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced environment, communicates clearly, and knows how to build a high‑performing team from the ground up. Key Responsibilities Lead daily operations for a FedEx delivery business, ensuring safe, efficient, and on‑time execution Manage and coach a team of delivery drivers, including recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management Oversee morning dispatch, route adjustments, and end‑of‑day closeout Monitor service metrics (stops per hour, delivery accuracy, compliance alerts, customer feedback) and drive continuous improvement Maintain DOT, FedEx, and company compliance standards Coordinate fleet maintenance, inspections, and downtime planning Partner with ownership on staffing levels, payroll accuracy, weekly reporting, and operational strategy Resolve escalations professionally and maintain strong relationships with FedEx station leadership with open lines of communication Implement safety programs, ride‑alongs, corrective coaching, and recognition initiatives Support launch‑phase setup: process building, workflow design, and culture development Qualifications 2+ years of leadership experience in logistics, delivery, transportation, warehouse, or similar fast‑paced operations Strong people‑management skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and hold teams accountable Working knowledge of DOT regulations, safety standards, and delivery‑operations best practices Ability to analyze KPIs and make data‑driven decisions Comfortable with technology: routing tools, spreadsheets, timekeeping systems, and mobile apps Must pass background check and meet FedEx compliance requirements Valid driver's license; DOT card preferred (or ability to obtain) Bilingual candidates are highly preferred What We're Looking For A leader who stays calm under pressure and solves problems quickly Someone who can build trust with drivers and station leadership A manager who understands both the human side and the operational side of delivery work A self‑starter who thrives in a launch environment and enjoys building systems that scale A culture‑builder who values safety, fairness, and high performance What We Offer Competitive salary with performance‑based bonuses Paid time off and benefits package Growth opportunities as the operation expands Supportive ownership team and a clear operational vision The chance to join a highly respected growing organization!
