Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage daily operations of the quality control inspection process and shipping and receiving, ensuring efficient and effective processes
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize productivity and streamline operations
• Coordinate and supervise staff, providing guidance and hands on support as needed
• Monitor and evaluate performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and hold all staff accountable for these metrics and all policies and procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth coordination of activities
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to operations
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
• Must learn and be able to preform the Quality Control position at a high level before leading and developing others.

Experience:

• Experience or must be able to learn UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager and DHL Online
• Quality Control Inspector experience preferred but not required
• Experience in lean methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives
• Previous experience as a warehouse or Quality manager is required

• Excellent leadership and management skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines and metrics
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
