Certified Nursing Assistant - Autism TRAVEL INVOLVED, PASSPORT REQUIRED

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) specializing in Autism care to provide private care. This role involves providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse populations, including children, in various healthcare settings ideally in a homecare role. Duties Assist patient with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Administer medications and treatments as prescribed under supervision, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and safety protocols Support behavioral health needs by implementing individualized care plans for patients with autism and other developmental disabilities Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control procedures Collaborate with homecare team (including Mother and Father) to coordinate patient care, including physicians/therapists/school Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families about health conditions and care routines Skills Experience working with individuals with disabilities or behavioral health needs, including autism spectrum disorder (non-verbal) Skilled in medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and basic life support techniques Ability to work effectively in high-pressure home care environment Familiarity with specialized care for pediatrics is preferred Compassionate caregiver with excellent communication skills and cultural sensitivity Ability to lift 75-100 LBS is an absolute requirement This role will include significant travel with the family
