Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of wholesale distribution warehouse that sells/distributes products to convenience stores, gas stations, and other retail businesses. Supervise the activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing, inspecting, and shipping products. Plan, organize, and manage the work of subordinate staff to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with the businesss requirements. Monitor operations to ensure that staff members comply with company administrative policies and procedures and safety rules. Resolve problems concerning storage, transportation, logistics systems, or end-buyer issues. Monitor inventory levels of products in warehouse and submit order requests. Inspect products received from vendors/suppliers for quality control, and examine invoices and shipping manifests for accuracy. Direct both inbound and outbound operations/orders for accuracy, quality control, and record-keeping. Inspect physical condition of warehouse, vehicles, and equipment; and order testing, maintenance, repairs, or replacements. Confer with sales department heads and company executives to coordinate warehouse activities, production, sales, records control, and purchasing. Coordinate with sales department for delivery. Control/manage payments from the sales department. Organize and manage record-keeping and bookkeeping systems.
