Job Description

Job Summary:
As an Assistant Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation and management of our Orlando warehouse. This includes overseeing the preparation, loading, unloading, storage, maintenance, and inventory of audio, video, lighting, staging, rigging, and other professional AV equipment. The role combines hands-on warehouse operations with team leadership, quality control and inventory management. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational and leadership skills, AV or live event experience, and the ability to coordinate multiple priorities while supporting the Warehouse Manager and ensuring equipment is ready for successful events.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Warehouse Manager with the daily operation, organization, and workflow of the warehouse. Oversee the pulling, prepping, packing, staging, and return of AV equipment according to job specifications and production schedules. Supervise, train, and provide direction to warehouse employees, leads, technicians, and freelancers while maintaining accountability for assigned work. Utilize Flex Rental Solutions to track and manage inventory across audio, video, lighting, staging, and other AV equipment, identifying missing, damaged, or incorrectly assigned items. Oversee quality control and equipment readiness, ensuring gear is tested, labeled, properly packed, and event-ready before leaving the warehouse. Assist in the coordination of incoming equipment, returns, transfers, repairs, and maintenance while communicating equipment issues to the appropriate department or vendor. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, including proper storage, labeling, cable management, equipment placement, and housekeeping standards.
Qualifications:
2+ years of warehouse, production, or operations experience, preferably in the AV or live event industry. Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse, production, logistics, or eventvenvironment. Working knowledge of professional AV equipment and the general workflow of live events, including audio, video, lighting, staging, and related systems. Proficiency with Flex Rental Solutions or similar inventory and equipment management software. Strong organizational, scheduling, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license with ability to drive non-CDL trucks or vans. Capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working extended hours in a warehouse environment, including occasional evenings and weekends during high-volume periods. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional AV, logistics, management, or technical training is a plus.
Pay:
$45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
