Join our team as an Assistant Warehouse Manager and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics, supply chain, and will call processes. If you are organized, reliable, and eager to work, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards Take ownership of will call pickups and counter sales Assist with loading and unloading trucks Inventory management, including stock counts and data entry into inventory systems Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently Follow safety protocols and company policies Assist with directing team members to meet daily operational goals We offer a supportive work environment with opportunities for growth and development. Requirements:
Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Basic computer skills Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Commitment to safety and adherence to safety procedures Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with inventory management systems and wireless warehouse systems Product knowledge in PVF, Plumbing, or Construction Prior experience as a manager or team lead
