This individual will oversee inbound and outbound operations, inventory management, labor planning, and team development while maintaining a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who enjoys building processes, developing people, solving operational challenges, and creating scalable warehouse operations. Responsibilities Lead and oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, inventory control, picking, packing, shipping, and returns. Build, mentor, and develop warehouse associates and supervisors to create a high-performing operations team. Drive operational excellence through labor planning, workflow optimization, and continuous process improvement. Monitor warehouse KPIs, including inventory accuracy, productivity, on-time shipping, safety performance, and customer service metrics. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and all warehouse safety procedures. Manage inventory integrity through cycle counts, audits, root cause analysis, and inventory reconciliation. Coordinate daily operations with customers, transportation providers, and internal departments to ensure service expectations are consistently achieved. Analyze operational performance and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support business growth. Support customer onboarding, warehouse set up, SOP development, and operational process implementation. Prepare operational reports and communicate performance updates to senior leadership. Foster a positive, accountable, and customer-focused workplace culture. Basic Qualifications Minimum 3 years of warehouse, distribution center, or logistics operations experience, including at least 1 year in management or supervisory role. Professional working proficiency in both English and Spanish (verbal and written) is required. High school diploma or equivalent required; college education or a Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience managing warehouse operations within a 3PL, distribution, fulfillment, or supply chain environment. Strong understanding of inbound, outbound, inventory control, replenishment, order fulfillment, and warehouse best practices. Experience utilizing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Outlook. Proven ability to manage warehouse KPIs, labor productivity, inventory accuracy, and operational performance. Demonstrated success leading, coaching, and developing warehouse teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety compliance. Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to adapt quickly, make sound operational decisions, and effectively manage multiple priorities. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Must be able to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs and perform physical warehouse duties as needed. Preferred Qualifications Experience leading warehouse startups, facility launches, or operational expansions. Experience managing customer accounts in a multi-client warehouse. Knowledge of Lean, Continuous Improvement, or warehouse process optimization. Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment.
