This position ensures accurate inventory management, timely order processing, safe warehouse operations, and efficient coordination with the sales and accounting teams. The Warehouse Manager is also responsible for collecting payments from drivers and walk-in customers for on-site sales. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operations Manage the daily operations of the warehouse. Supervise warehouse employees and assign daily tasks. Ensure orders are picked, packed, and loaded accurately and on time. Coordinate incoming and outgoing deliveries with vendors, carriers, and customers. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse. Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety procedures. Monitor warehouse equipment and schedule maintenance as needed. Inventory Management Receive inventory and verify quantities against purchase orders. Enter inventory receipts and adjustments accurately into QuickBooks Enterprise. Perform cycle counts and assist with monthly and annual physical inventories. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies. Monitor inventory levels and notify management when products require reordering. Ensure proper labeling and storage of all products. Shipping & Receiving Verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage. Prepare shipping documents, packing slips, and bills of lading. Coordinate freight pickups and deliveries. Maintain accurate receiving and shipping records. Customer Service & Sales Support Assist customers with warehouse pickups. Coordinate order pickups with sales representatives. Process on-site sales transactions. Collect payments from delivery drivers for COD deliveries and from walk-in customers purchasing products at the warehouse. Ensure all payments are properly documented and submitted to the accounting department promptly. Team Leadership Supervise warehouse personnel. Promote teamwork and maintain a positive work environment. Administration Maintain accurate warehouse records and documentation. Work closely with the accounting department regarding inventory and payment collection. Generate inventory and warehouse activity reports. Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Qualifications 3-5 years of warehouse management experience. Experience with inventory control and warehouse operations. QuickBooks Enterprise experience preferred. Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word). and Google. Preferred Skills Knowledge of automotive lubricants, filters, chemicals, and related warehouse operations. Experience coordinating freight shipments and vendor deliveries. Strong problem-solving and inventory reconciliation skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
