OVERVIEW
The Account Manager is responsible for managing the overall daily operations, activities, and staff in assigned school districts, acting as a liaison between ESS staff members, school district administrators and the corporate office to ensure the delivery of quality services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct site-visits and meetings with ESS clients within the district. Serve as point of contact with each client and ESS management in all matters relating to contract and account operations. Manage and motivate staff, including hiring, firing, disciplinary management, and recognition duties. Assist with presentations to the school board of education. Train, direct, and appraise staff. Make daily schedules for proper manpower utilization. Develop and implement recruiting efforts for clients, such as job fairs and special hiring events. Provide exceptional customer service by providing solutions to issues in a professional and empathetic manner. Recruit food service candidates, prescreen, and onboarding. Ensure substitute coverage is provided when employees are absent. Other duties as assigned by Regional Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum of one years of experience in management or a leadership role. Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with management reports. Must interact well with others. Ability to prioritize and multi-task. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Maintain high ethical standards, integrity, and confidentiality.
