Plumb Supply Company has two openings for a dependable person with a great attitude, attention to detail, and a team player to join their Davenport, Iowa team. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, with overtime as required.
Responsibilities:
Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, operational, and personnel policies and procedures. Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results. Maintains warehouse job results by coaching, counseling, planning, monitoring, and appraising staff job results. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Work with inside and outside sales staff to create a positive work environment. Operate a company vehicle to deliver material. Operate a forklift or other machinery in a safe and efficient manner Perform a variety of duties such as picking material, loading, unloading, staging, and shipping material. Process and maintain credits for customers. Other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
People management skills, including the ability to lead and motivate others, delegate work, and explain ideas. Ability to establish and maintain a professional relationship with employees, supervisors, and customers Effective verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrate an ability to create a positive work environment Comfortable working in a fast paced warehouse environment Must have a clean Commercial Driver's License Must pass pre-employment drug test, background check and driving record check. $25 / hour dependent on experience
