JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced warehouse leader to join our team. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage a team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise warehouse staff and warehouse process execution, including assigning tasks, training new employees, and providing guidance and support. Oversee the receiving process, ensuring accurate and timely receipt of incoming shipments. Coordinate the storage of merchandise, optimizing space utilization and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. Manage inventory levels and conduct daily cycle counts to ensure accuracy. Lead the picking and packing process for aftermarket orders, ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments. International shipping experience is a must. Enforce safety procedures and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Act as a critical thinker (not limited to what currently exists) and Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity. Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure seamless operations. Create written process for measuring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Perform other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Strong leadership and communication skills. Proficient in using JD Edwards and other related software. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate warehouse equipment. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Troubleshoot issues related to warehouse procedures, coach team to correct, continuously look for improvement opportunities. Forklift certification is a plus.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Role will be expected to match production hours, 7:30AM 4:00PM Mon Fri. o Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to meet deadlines or address operational needs. This position requires working in a warehouse environment, which may involve exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures. Must be able to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to meet deadlines or address operational needs. These responsibilities may be added to, revised and/or reprioritized as business needs and management dictate.
SALARY & BENEFITS
