Position Summary The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing warehouse, distribution, and logistics operations, serving as the operational leader responsible for building, optimizing, and executing efficient warehouse processes in partnership with senior operations leadership. This position oversees outbound order fulfillment, inbound raw material coordination, third-party logistics (3PL) inventory and shipping, carrier management, warehouse capacity, labor planning, inventory accuracy, and the integration of physical warehouse operations with overall business objectives. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Lead daily distribution planning and ensure alignment with production and operational requirements. Oversee outbound order fulfillment, warehouse throughput, and on-time shipment performance. Coordinate inbound raw material receiving, staging, and material flow. Manage 3PL inventory, shipping activities, and business relationships. Optimize warehouse layout, space utilization, storage capacity, and material flow. Manage warehouse staffing, labor planning, scheduling, and employee performance. Maintain inventory accuracy and coordinate cycle counts, audits, and inventory reconciliation. Establish, monitor, and report warehouse KPIs and operational performance metrics. Develop and implement warehouse processes, SOPs, and continuous improvement initiatives. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity. Ensure effective communication and coordination between warehouse, production, transportation, purchasing, and operations teams. Promote a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. Ensure warehouse operations comply with applicable company policies, OSHA requirements, DOT regulations, and industry standards. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered. 5-8 years of experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or manufacturing operations. 3-5 years of progressive leadership experience managing warehouse operations and personnel. Demonstrated experience managing team performance, KPIs, productivity, and operational metrics. Strong knowledge of warehouse safety practices and applicable OSHA and DOT requirements. Experience developing SOPs, operational processes, performance metrics, and continuous improvement programs. Experience managing multiple product and material flows, including outbound fulfillment, inbound receiving, inventory, and third-party logistics. Strong understanding of inventory management, warehouse operations, transportation, and distribution processes. Hands-on experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), including carrier selection, rate management, and freight optimization. Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP warehouse modules, and inventory management platforms. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications Experience within a manufacturing, distribution, industrial, medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated environment. Experience with 3PL operations and carrier management. Experience implementing warehouse optimization and continuous improvement initiatives. Strong analytical skills with the ability to use operational data to drive business decisions.
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
