Job Description
LaSalle Network is hiring a Warehouse Manager for a well-established, family-owned distribution company based in Lake Zurich, IL. This organization has served its industry for over 150 years and is known for a close-knit, family-oriented culture with exceptional employee tenure. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who wants to manage a small, tenured team while also rolling up their sleeves alongside them. The Warehouse Manager will oversee daily operations, and modernize procedures, all while earning the trust of a team that values stability, respect and collaboration over rapid change. Warehouse Manager Responsibilities Lead a six-person warehouse team, including pickers, packers and shippers Oversee daily picking, packing, shipping, receiving and inventory operations Work hands-on with the team as needed to support daily workflow Maintain inventory accuracy and strengthen cycle-count procedures Manage day-to-day warehouse activity within NetSuite Develop and document SOPs for major warehouse functions Coordinate inbound and outbound freight shipments Evaluate existing workflows and implement practical operational improvements Train employees on updated systems and procedures Partner closely with the president and other members of leadership What's Needed? Hands-on warehouse leadership experience, including managing a small team ERP or warehouse management system experience; NetSuite experience strongly preferred Experience developing and documenting SOPs Inventory management and cycle-count experience Shipping, receiving and freight coordination experience Strong follow-through, organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to train employees on new systems and procedures A calm, steady and collaborative leadership style Comfort leading change within a highly tenured team What's In It for Me?
