Job Purpose:
The Fulfillment & Assembly Manager at
JOHNS BYRNE CO
is responsible for overseeing the fulfillment and assembly operations to ensure efficient processing and delivery of products. This role involves managing a team, optimizing workflows, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the fulfillment and assembly team to achieve operational excellence. Develop and implement strategies to optimize workflow and improve efficiency in fulfillment and assembly processes. Monitor and maintain quality control standards to ensure products meet company and customer expectations. Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products. Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions. Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply for assembly and fulfillment operations. Train and mentor staff to enhance their skills and performance. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Address and resolve any issues that arise in the fulfillment and assembly process. Report on operational performance and provide insights to senior management.
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Required Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in fulfillment, assembly, or a related operational management role. Proven track record of managing and optimizing production processes and assembly lines. Experience in leading and developing a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Familiarity with inventory management systems and logistics.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in using ERP systems and other relevant software for managing operations. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders. Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive improvements and efficiencies. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality assurance and meeting production deadlines.
