Synergy's Success Warehouse Manager How You Will Contribute Roles and Responsibilities:
- Direct shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, and warehouse activities.
- Manage daily labor planning, scheduling, workload distribution, and warehouse priorities.
- Oversee domestic and international shipments, parcel services, and required documentation.
- Resolve shipment, transportation, and inventory issues in partnership with Customer Service, Purchasing, Planning, and Supply Chain.
- Monitor inventory accuracy, productivity, service levels, safety, and customer requirements.
- Direct receiving activities for raw materials, packaging, and intercompany transfers.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, discrepancy resolution, and corrective actions.
- Ensure accurate ERP transactions, inventory reporting, and material availability.
- Recruit, train, coach, evaluate, and develop warehouse employees.
- Set clear expectations for accountability, teamwork, engagement, safety, and performance.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, OSHA, food safety, kosher, and company requirements.
- Lead safety initiatives, reinforce safe work practices, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Identify and implement improvements that increase productivity, inventory accuracy, organization, service levels, and warehouse effectiveness.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- 5+ years of leadership experience in warehouse, logistics, distribution, or supply chain operations; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience supervising teams in a manufacturing, food, or GMP-regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, transportation logistics, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
