ZHKICKS ZHKICKS
is the #1 live seller on TikTok. We sell sneakers through TikTok Shop and Whatnot, shipping more than 1,000 packages a day from our Woodridge warehouse. We're growing fast and need an experienced warehouse manager who can improve our systems, keep inventory accurate, and help us scale. Position Summary ZHKICKS is seeking a hands on Warehouse Manager to take full ownership of our 15,000 sqft Woodridge facility. This person will build a disciplined, scalable warehouse operation covering receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, returns, staffing, safety, and loss prevention. A major responsibility of this role will be evaluating, selecting, and implementing the best-fit warehouse management system for ZHKICKS. The Warehouse Manager will lead the project from requirements gathering and vendor selection through warehouse mapping, barcode implementation, data migration, employee training, testing, and launch. This is not a desk-only management position. The right candidate will be visible on the warehouse floor, solve problems in real time, hold the team accountable, and create systems capable of supporting continued growth across multiple live-selling accounts and platforms. Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations
  • Manage all daily activities within the 15,000 sqft facility.
  • Oversee receiving, inspection, putaway, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, returns, and inventory transfers.
  • Design an efficient warehouse layout with clearly defined receiving, storage, live-show staging, packing, returns, and high-value inventory areas.
  • Ensure orders from TikTok Shop, Whatnot, and other sales channels are processed accurately and shipped on time.
  • Build operating procedures that can handle sharp order spikes following live-selling events.
  • Coordinate inventory availability and product staging with live-show hosts and sales teams.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, secure, and professional facility. WMS Selection and Implementation
  • Evaluate ZHKICKS's operational requirements and identify the best-fit WMS for the business.
  • Compare WMS vendors based on functionality, integrations, scalability, implementation requirements, support, and total cost.
  • Lead warehouse slotting, location labeling, SKU standardization, barcode design, and inventory-data cleanup.
  • Manage migration from current processes into the selected WMS.
  • Integrate the WMS with selling platforms, order-management tools, shipping software, barcode equipment, and other relevant systems.
  • Develop and test workflows for receiving, putaway, picking, packing, cycle counts, transfers, returns, and exception handling.
  • Train warehouse employees and create clear WMS operating procedures.
  • Establish controls to prevent duplicate orders, incorrect inventory deductions, overselling, and unrecorded inventory movement.
  • Monitor the implementation after launch and continuously improve system use and reporting. Inventory Control and Loss Prevention
  • Maintain accurate inventory by SKU, style, size, condition, and warehouse location.
  • Establish barcode scanning and system-controlled inventory movement throughout the facility.
  • Create cycle-counting and physical-inventory programs.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Develop controls for high-value sneakers and other theft-sensitive products.
  • Monitor shrinkage, damage, mis-picks, unlocated inventory, and unauthorized movement.
  • Ensure returns are inspected, documented, and returned to available inventory or quarantine appropriately.
  • Maintain chain-of-custody and product-authenticity controls where applicable. Fulfillment and Shipping
  • Set daily fulfillment priorities based on order age, platform requirements, shipping deadlines, and customer commitments.
  • Improve picking and packing speed without sacrificing accuracy.
  • Ensure packages meet carrier and platform requirements.
  • Track late shipments, cancellations, incorrect orders, damages, and customer-service issues originating in the warehouse.
  • Manage carrier pickups, shipping supplies, label systems, and packaging standards.
  • Develop staffing and space plans for high-volume live shows and peak periods. Team Leadership
  • Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and develop warehouse employees.
  • Establish clear productivity and quality expectations for every warehouse function.
  • Hold daily floor meetings and communicate order volume, priorities, risks, and performance.
  • Create written standard operating procedures and training materials.
  • Coach employees and address performance or attendance issues promptly.
  • Build a culture of accountability, urgency, accuracy, organization, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure adequate coverage during evenings, weekends, or peak live-selling periods when required. Safety and Facility Management
  • Maintain compliance with applicable workplace-safety requirements.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and employee training.
  • Oversee material-handling equipment, shelving, security systems, maintenance, and vendor relationships.
  • Maintain emergency, incident-reporting, and loss-prevention procedures.
  • Identify facility improvements needed to support growth and employee safety. Performance Metrics The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for improving and reporting on:
  • Inventory accuracy
  • Order accuracy
  • Same-day and next-day fulfillment rates
  • Average order-processing time
  • Orders shipped per labor hour
  • Late-shipment and cancellation rates
  • Return and damage rates
  • Inventory shrinkage
  • Receiving-to-available time
  • Cost per order fulfilled
  • WMS implementation milestones, adoption, and data accuracy
  • Safety incidents and facility compliance Qualifications
  • Five or more years of warehouse, fulfillment, distribution, or e-commerce operations experience.
  • At least three years of warehouse leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated experience selecting, implementing, administering, or significantly improving a WMS.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control, barcode scanning, warehouse slotting, cycle counting, and order fulfillment.
  • Experience managing high-SKU-count inventory, preferably including footwear, apparel, collectibles, or other size-sensitive products.
  • Experience supporting high-volume e-commerce or marketplace orders.
  • Ability to analyze operational data and turn findings into practical improvements.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-growing environment where processes must be built and improved quickly.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, warehouse reporting, shipping systems, and inventory software. Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with e-commerce fulfillment operations.
  • Experience integrating a WMS with multiple sales channels and shipping systems.
  • Experience opening, reorganizing, or scaling a warehouse operation.
  • Knowledge of sneaker inventory, product authentication, and high-value-item controls.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, continuous-improvement, or project-management experience. hysical and Scheduling Requirements
  • Ability to work full-time and on-site at the Woodridge facility.
  • Ability to remain active on the warehouse floor for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Availability during selected evenings, weekends, peak sales periods, or major live-selling events as business needs require.
What Success Looks Like Within the first six months, the Warehouse Manager should have established reliable operating procedures, improved inventory and order accuracy, created clear team accountability, optimized the facility layout, and led ZHKICKS through the selection and implementation of a scalable WMS. The successful candidate will build a warehouse operation that can support ZHKICKS's growth without sacrificing shipping speed, inventory control, product security, or customer experience.

$75,000.00
