This is a hands-on sales role for someone who enjoys developing new business, building relationships, and creating long-term customer growth. The primary objective of this position is to increase profitable distribution sales, expand our customer base, and grow the Daniel's Vineyard brand in new and existing markets. Key Responsibilities Prospect and open new on-premise accounts, including restaurants, bars, hotels, golf courses, private clubs, event venues, and hospitality businesses. Develop new off-premise accounts, including liquor stores, grocery stores, wine shops, specialty retailers, and other retail opportunities. Maintain regular communication with existing customers to generate reorders and identify additional sales opportunities. Build strong relationships with owners, buyers, beverage directors, general managers, and other key decision-makers. Conduct account visits, product presentations, tastings, and sales follow-up. Identify new geographic markets and areas where Daniel's Vineyard products could gain distribution. Develop productive relationships with distributor partners and their sales teams. Work with distributor representatives on new account opportunities, product placements, tastings, and market visits. Maintain an active sales pipeline and follow up consistently with prospects. Reactivate accounts that have stopped ordering and identify opportunities to increase the number of Daniel's Vineyard products carried by existing customers. Represent Daniel's Vineyard professionally at customer meetings, distributor meetings, tastings, and industry events. How Success Will Be Measured This is a results-driven position.
