Parker Aerospace is looking for an experienced Shipping & Receiving Manager to lead warehouse, shipping, receiving, and logistics operations. You will manage a team of approximately 34 employees, including 9-10 direct reports, and drive improvements in safety, inventory, productivity, and overall warehouse performance.
What You'll Do:
Lead daily warehouse, shipping, receiving, and logistics operations. Manage and develop a team of 34 employees. Oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping. Manage inbound/outbound transportation and carrier relationships. Maintain accurate inventory and oversee cycle counting. Track productivity, inventory, and on-time shipment performance. Drive Lean, 5S, standard work, visual management, and waste reduction. Identify process gaps and implement continuous improvements. Promote safety, quality, accountability, and teamwork. Partner with Production, Procurement, Logistics, and Customer Service. Use
SAP/ERP/WMS
systems for warehouse and inventory management. Ensure compliance with safety, ITAR, SOX, and company requirements.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field. 5-7+ years of manufacturing experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or materials management. Previous Warehouse Manager or similar leadership experience. Strong warehouse, inventory, and logistics knowledge. SAP experience required. Experience with Lean, 5S, standard work, and continuous improvement. Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong Microsoft Office/Excel skills. APICS certification is a plus.
