Warehouse Manager (Woodworking) Woodcraft Designers & Builders, LLC Attleboro, MA Job Details Full-time $23 - $33 an hour 10 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Flexible spending account Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Forklift Certification Lifting equipment Packing English Forklift Driver's License Order fulfillment receiving Shipping & receiving Attention to detail Organizational skills Materials handling Material handling equipment operation Full Job Description Overview Industry - Woodworking Working as Full-time Shipper Receiver, you will work under the supervision of the Production Manager and Shop Foreman to receive, track, and manage all incoming materials as well as package, load, and ship finished products. Extreme attention to detail, self-motivation, and strong organization skills are a must in order to succeed in this fast-paced millwork manufacturing facility. Primary duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Receive materials utilizing proper documentation including labeling incoming material and maintaining material database.
- Inspect materials/products received ensuring they are in good condition and quantities/material are correct.
- Properly package, load and ship finished goods to ensure they arrive at the site without damage.
- Maintain overall knowledge of materials needed for projects in production and their location on the shop floor.
- Work with Shop Foreman and Production manager to identify/locate materials needed to produce work orders.
- Use Forklifts and other types of material handling equipment as needed to load, unload, and move materials onto/from racks and staging locations throughout warehouse.
- Use company Van or Box Truck for occasional local deliveries.
Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Receiving materials Packing and Shipping finished products. Maintaining material order database Managing inventory in warehouse Maintaining a clean and safe work environmentRequired Position Qualifications:
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position: Possess a current valid driver's license and forklift license. Proficient written and oral communication skills Perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities. Highly motivated and self-directed positive attitude Demonstrate attention to detail and strong sense of urgency. Work independently as well as in a team environment Lift, slide, carry and lower packages.Preferred Position Qualifications:
Previous experience (2-3 years) receiving, shipping, sorting or managing inventory.Job Type:
