Shipping & Receiving Manager Rachael's Food Corporation is a local food manufacturing company that takes pride in providing only the highest quality products to our customers, servicing the Convenience Store industry and Supermarkets. We are seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Manager to oversee our daily shipping and distribution operations. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all orders are shipped and delivered promptly and accurately according to our SOP'S. The ideal candidate for this position is analytical, well-organized, and possesses excellent communication skills. They should be comfortable with managing paperwork and utilizing information systems. A strong ability to manage a diverse crew of dock personnel and selectors. Your primary goal as a Shipping & Receiving Manager will be to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our shipping & receiving processes. By coordinating with various teams and utilizing your expertise, you will play a vital role in maintaining the timely delivery of orders and enhancing customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Use software to track, check, prioritize and route orders Direct the flow of packages from preparation to shipment. Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies. Supervise and lead subordinates (dock workers, order pickers etc.) Maintains a clean and neat area. Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables. Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, inventory and counting accurately. Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude. Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing and other managers to optimize processes. Resolve issues regarding shipped or received orders. Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies. Report to management on activities and issues. Requirements and skills Proven experience as shipping manager Solid knowledge of logistics procedures Experience in directing and evaluating subordinates. Excellent organizational and communication skills Attention to detail.

Problem-solving abilities High school diploma:
