Performs a variety of duties to ensure the accuracy of goods received into the Receiving Department and computer system. Works from delivery receipts, packing slips, delivery memorandums, manifest, other written/verbal instructions. Communicates information to interested parties through both written and verbal communication. Verifies accuracy of packing slips, manifests, and delivery receipts against product brought into the company. Verifies all counts and weights are correct. Reports damage and shortages to the Purchasing and Shipping/Receiving departments. Ensures all appropriate documentation is present with shipment at time of delivery. Transacts all delivery receipts into ERP system. Scans all documentation for electronic filing. Prepares and maintains all receiving records. Works with Purchasing and Accounting to reconcile all delivery receipts. Monitors receiving inspection for flow of goods. Notifies appropriate party of receipt of returned goods (RMA). Transacts product and paperwork to and from outside vendors. Follows company policies and practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or applicable employment agreement. Follows safety guidelines and procedures in accordance to the job. Performs additional duties as assigned.What We're Looking For:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum of 1-2 years experience in receiving Basic knowledge with MS Office Suite, SAP a plus. Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions. Must be certified to drive forklifts or pass certification exam during initial trial period.What you may be doing:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be frequently required to execute standard physical activities within the facility areas (i.e. stand, walk, sit, use hands/fingers). While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be frequently required to execute non-standard physical activities within the facility areas (i.e. climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch). Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.What's In It For You:
