Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Warehouse Manager to lead our logistics operations with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire warehouse environment, ensuring seamless coordination of inventory, shipping, receiving, and distribution activities. Your leadership will drive process improvements, optimize supply chain workflows, and foster a safety-first culture. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage complex logistics systems, implement lean methodologies, and elevate operational excellence across all warehouse functions. Duties Lead and supervise daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping & receiving, and warehouse distribution. Develop and execute process improvement initiatives utilizing lean principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Manage transportation planning and logistics coordination with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and freight carriers to ensure timely deliveries. Oversee procurement, purchasing, and materials management activities to maintain optimal stock levels and inventory control. Utilize ERP systems such as AS400 and warehouse management systems (WMS) to monitor operations, analyze supply chain data, and support continuous improvement efforts. Implement and maintain safety protocols, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and forklift operation regulations. Prepare budgets, monitor profit & loss statements, and conduct supply chain analytics to improve overall operational profitability. Supervise warehouse staff including hiring, training, scheduling, dispatching, and performance evaluations. Coordinate demand planning with production teams to align inventory levels with forecasted needs while managing transportation management systems for freight movement. Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives focusing on supply chain efficiency, inventory accuracy, and process standardization. Experience Proven experience in warehouse supervision or operations management within a fast-paced logistics environment. Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles including inventory control, procurement, freight forwarding (including NVOCC), and shipping & receiving processes. Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms such as AS400, and supply chain analytics tools. Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement projects using lean methodologies or continuous improvement frameworks. Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS), demand planning software, fleet management, dispatching, and materials management practices. Supervisory experience managing teams of warehouse staff with a focus on safety, productivity, and employee development. Knowledge of budgeting processes related to logistics operations along with profit & loss accountability. Strong organizational skills in production planning, order fulfillment, freight coordination, and warehouse distribution strategies.
