- About the Role
- Fick Bros. is seeking an experienced, proactive Warehouse Manager to lead facility operations, manage stock, and oversee site upkeep. You will control inventory movement, negotiate vendor pricing, supervise an Assistant Warehouse Manager, and ensure our properties stay clean and fully functional.
- Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Procurement:
- Track daily incoming/outgoing stock, enter materials into the internal database, negotiate best vendor pricing, and order project equipment.
Daily Operations:
- Unlock facilities, load trucks and equipment in the morning, process daily job returns, and stage materials for upcoming schedules.
Facilities Maintenance:
- Perform routine maintenance and groundskeeping across two main facilities (1200 & 1212 buildings), including lawn care, trimming, sweeping, and general minor repairs.
Team Leadership:
- Direct supervision of the Assistant Warehouse Manager and close coordination with field, sales, and administration teams.
Planning & Communication:
- Review job cost sheets, coordinate daily with the Production Manager, and stay reachable via company phone for operational updates.
- Qualifications
- Active Forklift Operator Certification
- Valid Maryland Driver's License
- Proficient in basic computer software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong negotiation, communication, and decision-making skills
- Proactive problem-solver with excellent organizational capabilities
- Physical ability to perform daily warehouse tasks and outdoor groundskeeping duties
