This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee end-to-end warehouse functions, optimize supply chain processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing inventory, coordinating transportation, and ensuring seamless distribution to meet organizational goals. An ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of electrical/fire alarm/CCTV material procurement and management. Responsibilities Oversee daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and distribution management to ensure efficiency and accuracy. Lead procurement activities by sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing purchasing processes aligned with budgetary targets. Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS) to streamline logistics workflows and improve process management. Supervise warehouse staff, including warehouse supervisors, dispatchers, and forklift operators, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Coordinate transportation planning and fleet management to optimize freight movement, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery. Implement lean methodologies and process improvement strategies to enhance operational efficiency across all supply chain functions. Monitor key performance indicators related to profit & loss, inventory levels, order fulfillment accuracy, and overall supply chain analytics to support data-driven decision-making. Experience Proven experience in warehouse supervision or operations management within a logistics or supply chain environment specific to an electrical contractor Demonstrated expertise in procurement, purchasing, demand planning, production planning, and inventory management for a Special Systems/CCTV contractor Experience supervising teams involved in dispatching, order fulfillment, materials management, and distribution operations. Ability to analyze supply chain data to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings while maintaining high service levels.
