Salaried Discover a more connected career The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading and actively participating in the day-to-day operations of a telecommunications construction warehouse. What you'll do Manage, oversee, supervise and participate in daily operations. Follow established policy and procedures for company and our vendors. Control and manage all inventory processes and address any issues as needed (cycle counts, reconciliations, receipts, etc.). Ensure the accuracy of inventory management systems (APOS) (Company & Customer). Communicate with various levels of management and customers to ensure that customer expectations are met and issues are resolved, including turnaround time. Ensure warehouse duties are completed by staff efficiently and effectively. Support and ensure compliance with company safety programs and initiatives as well as all applicable OSHA and state workplace safety laws. Work with field supervisors and crews to assure all policies and procedures are being followed. Operate forklift, load and unload trucks as needed. Interview, select and train warehouse personnel, as needed. What you'll need Problem- solving and analytical ability Superior organizational skills /accuracy and attention to detail Able to work independently with minimal direction Capable of following written instructions and documented procedures Team player who works productively with wide range of people Strong mathematical abilities Excellent project management skills Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management Ability to work under pressures of a deadline-driven environment Knowledge of computer software applications (Windows, Microsoft Word/Excel) Demonstrated ability/experience in operating a forklift Must be able to pass drug, background, MVR, and DOT screenings Must have a valid driver's license Experience in the telecommunications/construction sector is a plus. Demonstrated experience in a supervisory position The wage range for Warehouse Manager is $70,000 - $80,000.
