Job Description

We are hiring a manager to run day-to-day operations for a growing independent moving and storage company in Southern Maine. This is not a desk-only management job. We need a strong leader who can manage crews, solve problems fast, handle customers professionally, and keep operations moving efficiently every day. If you have experience in moving, logistics, trucking, transportation, warehousing, or service operations — and you know how to lead people and hold teams accountable — we want to talk to you.
Responsibilities:
  • Dispatch and schedule crews, trucks, and jobs
  • Manage customer communication and job coordination
  • Supervise movers, drivers, and warehouse staff
  • Ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and professionally
  • Solid problem solving skills
  • Maintain organization of warehouse and storage inventory
  • Assist with hiring, training, and team performance
Requirements:
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience managing employees and schedules
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Moving industry or logistics experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license required

Pay:
$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

moving industry : 4 years (Preferred) crew management: 4 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
