Job Description

Job Summary P.L. Slaton, Inc. is seeking a motivated and dependable Location Manager to oversee daily operations at our Grand Rapids location. This is a hands-on leadership position in a fast-paced environment where the manager plays an important role in keeping operations running safely, efficiently, and effectively. The ideal candidate is an organized, confident leader who can manage employees, solve problems, communicate effectively, and make sound decisions while maintaining a high standard of customer service and productivity. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop employees to achieve performance and productivity goals. Provide direction, training, feedback, and accountability to team members. Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily work assignments and staffing needs. Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment while ensuring company policies and applicable regulations are followed. Maintain high standards for quality, customer service, and overall operational performance. Oversee day-to-day operations and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce unnecessary costs. Monitor workflow, productivity, and available resources to ensure work is completed accurately and on schedule. Identify and resolve operational issues quickly and effectively. Address employee concerns and personnel issues in a professional and consistent manner. Receive and resolve customer complaints while maintaining a professional and service-focused approach. Communicate important information between upper management and employees. Implement and reinforce company policies, procedures, and operational standards. Assist with developing and implementing improved procedures and processes. Maintain accurate operational records, manuals, and other necessary documentation. Handle small amounts of cash and complete related transactions accurately. Support management with other operational responsibilities as needed. Qualifications & Skills At least 1 year of management or supervisory experience . Strong leadership and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach. Ability to understand and manage complex operations. Professional, dependable, and able to hold employees accountable. Strong attention to detail and follow-through. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, leads by example, and can be counted on to keep the operation moving. The successful candidate will be comfortable making decisions, addressing problems as they arise, and communicating with both employees and management. Pay:
From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
