Driving is one part of the job; the position also serves as a routine client contact, verifies order completeness, maintains required paperwork and helps prepare and organize the school's needs before departure.
Core Responsibilities:
Review assigned school orders and service needs before. Help pull, organize, pack or prepare items for assigned schools when. Verify food, supplies and quantities before loading and again at delivery when. Safely load, transport and deliver food and. Identify and resolve missing or short items before departure whenever reasonably. Serve as the routine day-to-day point of contact for assigned school. Complete required production sheets and delivery/service paperwork. Communicate school updates, count changes or service needs through the established company. Maintain a clean, orderly, assigned van and loading/work. Assist in the kitchen or warehouse as needed before or after. Report vehicle, equipment, product or operational problems.
