Duties Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities during the first shift, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment. Lead, motivate, and manage warehouse staff to meet productivity goals while maintaining high safety standards. Oversee the operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners to ensure safe and efficient movement of goods. Implement process improvements using lean management principles to enhance workflow, reduce waste, and optimize warehouse operations. Maintain accurate inventory management through warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols across all warehouse functions. Oversee PSX operations to ensure accurate and timely product delivery. Oversee inventory processes including receiving, put away stock and returns picking and cycle counting; investigate variances and implement corrective actions. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management within a distribution center environment. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems, and RF scanner technology. Hands-on experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and heavy lifting tools. Familiarity with logistics processes including shipping & receiving, e-commerce fulfillment, and materials handling. Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively through managerial communication. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite for reporting and documentation purposes. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for warehouse safety compliance. Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
