Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Warehouse General Manager to lead and optimize our distribution and logistics operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all facets of warehouse management, from inventory control and distribution operations to transportation planning and process improvement initiatives. Your leadership will drive efficiency, enhance supply chain performance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage a high-performing team while ensuring seamless coordination across all logistics functions. Responsibilities Warehouse Operations Leadership Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping activities. Team Leadership & Development Lead, coach, and develop warehouse leadership team members and associates. Establish clear expectations, provide performance feedback, and promote accountability. Support recruiting, onboarding, training, and retention efforts for warehouse employees. Build a positive work environment focused on teamwork, respect, engagement, and continuous improvement. Partner with Human Resources on employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning. Safety & Compliance Champion a strong safety culture by ensuring employees follow all safety policies and procedures. Conduct regular safety reviews and support corrective action plans when needed. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety standards, and equipment operating procedures. Promote proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and material handling equipment. Inventory Management Oversee inventory control processes to maintain accurate stock levels. Partner with purchasing, merchandising, and operations teams to address inventory opportunities. Review inventory discrepancies and develop action plans to improve accuracy. Ensure proper organization and utilization of warehouse space. Financial & Operational Management Manage warehouse operating expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings. Develop and manage labor plans to support business needs. Analyze staffing levels, productivity reports, and operational data to make informed decisions. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning. Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with transportation, purchasing, sales, stores, and corporate teams to support business objectives. Communicate operational updates, challenges, and opportunities to leadership. Support company initiatives, system implementations, and continuous improvement projects. Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity, accuracy, and service levels. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, labor efficiency, safety performance, and delivery performance. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce operating costs. Pay:
$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
