Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Furniture Delivery and Warehouse Manager, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their furniture with exceptional service and professionalism. Duties Safely load, unload, and secure furniture items using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks Drive commercial box trucks or similar vehicles on scheduled routes to deliver furniture efficiently and on time Assist customers with their furniture needs during delivery, providing excellent customer service and answering questions professionally Scheduling deliveries based on need, distance, and time needed Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records Load and organize trucks for optimal delivery efficiency, ensuring proper handling of all items to prevent damage Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during route driving and deliveries Requirements Proven experience as a delivery driver, courier, or warehouse worker with a focus on moving heavy items Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred but not required Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmission is highly desirable Ability to lift heavy furniture items repeatedly throughout the day; physical strength and stamina are essential Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks; certification is a plus Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude Excellent route driving skills with knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing schedules This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine your driving expertise with hands-on warehouse work while delivering exceptional service that keeps our customers happy.
