Qualifications:
Valid state certification in Special Education Prior experience teaching in a special education setting Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring Knowledge of various instructional strategies and behavioral interventions Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues Willingness to adapt to diverse classroom situations
Responsibilities:
Modify curriculum and teaching approaches to meet the needs of individual students Develop, monitor, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate regularly with general education teachers and related service providers Track and report on student progress toward IEP goals Create a safe, encouraging, and structured classroom environment Employ a variety of behavioral and instructional strategies to promote student growth Provide regular updates and communication with families This contract role offers a rewarding environment where your work truly matters.
