We provide heating and air conditioning services for residential and commercial customers throughout the metro area. Our business covers all areas of new construction, remodeling, and service. Position Overview Binder Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a dependable, organized, and motivated Warehouse / Delivery / Fleet Coordinator to join our team. This position is responsible for keeping our warehouse organized and operating efficiently, delivering equipment and materials to job sites, and helping maintain and manage the company's vehicle fleet.
The position is approximately:
- 25% Warehouse Management
- 50% Delivery Driver
- 25% Fleet Management The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, safety-conscious, comfortable working independently, and able to communicate effectively with both office and field personnel. 1. Warehouse Management — 25% Responsibilities include:
- Receive, inspect, organize, and store incoming equipment, materials, and supplies.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of warehouse materials and equipment.
- Prepare materials and equipment for upcoming installation and service jobs.
- Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Coordinate with field technicians and installers to ensure they have the necessary materials for their jobs.
- Track equipment and materials moving into and out of the warehouse.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries.
- Identify inventory needs and communicate purchasing requirements.
- Help maintain an organized system for storing tools, equipment, parts, and supplies.
- Dispose of or properly organize obsolete, damaged, or unused materials.
- Follow company safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment. 2. Delivery Driver — 50% Responsibilities include:
- Deliver HVAC equipment, materials, and supplies to residential and commercial job sites.
- Pick up equipment and materials from vendors and suppliers.
- Load and secure materials properly to prevent damage during transportation.
- Assist with unloading equipment and materials at job sites.
- Verify deliveries against packing slips, work orders, and purchase orders.
- Communicate with project managers, technicians, installers, and office staff regarding deliveries.
- Maintain accurate delivery records.
- Ensure company vehicles are kept clean and organized.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Represent Binder Heating & Air Conditioning professionally when interacting with customers, vendors, and contractors.
- Occasionally assist with moving large or heavy HVAC equipment and materials. A clean driving record is required for this position. The successful applicant must maintain a safe driving history and meet the company's requirements for operating company vehicles. 3. Fleet Management — 25% Responsibilities include:
- Monitor the condition of company vehicles and identify maintenance or repair needs.
- Schedule routine vehicle maintenance, inspections, oil changes, tire service, and repairs.
- Coordinate with repair shops and service providers.
- Maintain vehicle maintenance and service records.
- Monitor vehicle cleanliness and overall condition.
- Ensure vehicles have necessary safety equipment and supplies.
- Help track vehicle registrations, inspections, and other required documentation.
- Coordinate vehicle repairs and minimize vehicle downtime.
- Communicate vehicle issues to management and affected employees.
- Help maintain an organized system for vehicle keys, equipment, and assigned vehicles.
- Assist with evaluating vehicle maintenance and replacement needs. Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to lift 100+ pounds
- Ability to follow and complete directions provided
- Possess and maintain a valid driver's license
- Clean driving record, no DUI/DWI in past 5 years

- Previous warehouse, delivery, fleet, HVAC, construction, or similar experience is preferred but not required.
