We are looking for a person with Warehouse Management experience to manage our inventory and warehouse style showroom. Must have familiarity with fitness equipment. Preferred experience supervising employees. This is a good position to grow for the right candidate. The right candidate will be detail oriented and assertive in directing staff. Day shift, No holidays, or Sunday's, rotating Saturdays (typically one a month). Must be able to lift 70lbs Must have prior inventory control experience (show on resume) Must have tool knowledge Must be able to climb ladders Furniture and/or Appliance assembly a plus Preferred Experience Logistics experience Degree or 5 plus years of relevant experience. Familiar with digital inventory systems Familiar with getting freight quotes and palletizing Retail Experience Prior use of Forklift Prior experience Driving Box Truck Job Duties Control everything going in and out of warehouse Count everything coming into the warehouse Pull and package everything going out of the warehouse Keep warehouse clean and rows organized Get random counts on products when we need to order more Move inventory for sales/displays Manage employees while in the warehouse - make sure floor models are assembled Daily Safety checks for the warehouse. Palletize freight, get measurements to sales staff for freight quotes Manage supplies in the warehouse, tags, bubble wrap, stretch wrap, ect. Forklift Certified - Use forklift to move equipment on and off trucks Go out on jobs with install staff as needed Local deliveries and pickups as needed Assemble equipment. Maintain quality and safety standards in area of responsibility Job requires heavy lifting daily Includes paid medical dental and vision for employee. 401K, PTO.
