Yard Manager

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Yard Manager to lead and optimize our outdoor storage and logistics operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the efficient management of yard activities, including inventory control, transportation coordination, and warehouse distribution. Duties Supervise daily yard activities, ensuring safe and efficient movement of materials, equipment, and vehicles Oversee inventory management processes Manage procurement and sourcing activities related to materials handling, packaging supplies, and freight services Implement process improvements using supply chain analytics and warehouse management systems (WMS) to streamline operations Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a secure yard environment through regular inspections and asset protection measures Conduct data analysis to identify trends, improve operational efficiency, and support strategic decision-making in supply chain activities Experience Proven experience in warehouse management or yard supervision within logistics or supply chain environments Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives using data analysis skills and supply chain analytics tools Experience operating forklifts , skidloaders,and other materials handling equipment preferred Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting Strong communication skills for coordinating with internal teams, vendors, carriers, and external partners Proficiency with computer and basic office skills, as job needs Join us as a Yard Manager if you're ready to lead impactful logistics operations that keep our supply chain moving smoothly.
