Job Description

Job Summary The Assistant Warehouse Manager will be the primary leader for the warehouse overseeing all second shift operations for the Liberty NC location and report to the Sr Manager that oversees all NC operations for the organization. This individual will be expected to oversee all people on second shift and operational management matters for the location with a team of roughly 20 associate including a group lead and two team leads on second shift. Duties include but are not limited to: Lead daily warehouse operations with a focus on safety, quality, productivity, and employee engagement Monitor operational performance and ensure customer expectations are met Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Kaizen and Lean methodologies Establish and improve warehouse procedures and workflows utilizing TPS principles Manage labor utilization, staffing, budgets, and monthly operational reporting Develop team members and succession plans to ensure operational continuity Track and deliver facility KPI goals Promote and maintain a strong 5S culture throughout the operation Skills 6+ years of warehouse, distribution, or logistics operations experience Leadership experience managing warehouse teams, supervisors, or department leads Experience overseeing safety, quality, productivity, and employee relations Strong understanding of warehouse KPIs and operational metrics Experience developing, coaching, and training warehouse staff
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
