Overview We are seeking a Distribution Center Assistant Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations at our distribution facility. This vital role involves managing inventory control, supervising warehouse staff, and ensuring efficient logistics processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive warehouse experience, and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management systems. Role and Responsibilities:

Assist the Manager in warehouse and office by helping maintain day to day operations of the DC. Supervise loading and unloading, sorting and picking. Maintain inventory levels through scheduled audits and inventory counts reordering as necessary. Oversee sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, bins, or stacks. Verify pre-staged jobs. Assist in office management, order entry, answering phones, filing, organization, and general customer service Assist with customers when needed. Fork lift certification a plus but not mandatory. Open and/or close the DC as required. Fill in for Manager when necessary. Make improvement recommendations to the Manager Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced math skills including the ability to measure and use hand tools. Advanced reading -English Go getter and self-starter who must be able to work with customers and teammates. Ability to work without constant supervision and provide supervision to others. Microsoft Office Suite familiarity Additional Notes Stable work history Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk, move quickly, load trucks and be able to comprehend stacking and safe loading of many types of vehicles. This can be a physical job in a warehouse environment. Must be able to lift up to 25-50 lbs and up to 70 lbs occasionally. There will be exposure to the heat and cold as the seasons change. Pay:

$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
