Job Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and customer-focused Order & Delivery Coordinator to join our team! In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring customer orders are processed accurately, deliveries are scheduled efficiently, and products arrive on time. You'll work closely with customers, drivers, vendors, warehouse teams, sales, service, and other internal partners to keep orders and deliveries moving smoothly from start to finish. What You'll Do:
  • Plan, manage, and optimize daily delivery schedules and driver routes to meet customer delivery dates, maximize capacity, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate delivery activities with warehouse, sales, service, and other internal teams to ensure customer and operational requirements are met.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for delivery scheduling inquiries, proactively communicating delivery windows, changes, delays, and confirmations to customers.
  • Monitor deliveries throughout the day and adjust schedules and routes as needed to address operational changes, capacity constraints, and unexpected challenges.
  • Accurately enter, process, and maintain customer orders, delivery information, and related documentation within the Order Management System (OMS) and other business systems.
  • Manage vendor purchase orders, including submission, confirmation tracking, lead-time monitoring, and coordination to ensure products are available when needed.
  • Process order changes, reorders, replacements, and service-related purchase orders while minimizing impacts to project timelines and customer satisfaction.
  • Investigate and resolve order, shipment, freight, and delivery discrepancies, including coordinating replacements and submitting claims or vendor credit requests when necessary.
  • Schedule bench assembly and pre-route delivery trucks to ensure appropriate capacity and efficient resource utilization.
  • Collaborate across departments to resolve order and delivery issues and identify opportunities to improve routing, efficiency, service, and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in cross-training and provide team coverage to support operational continuity.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring Required Skills & Abilities Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Professional, positive, and customer-focused approach. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers, vendors, drivers, and internal teams. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word, or comparable software. Ability and willingness to learn new systems, technologies, and processes. Experience with an Order Management System (OMS), dispatch software, or logistics platform is preferred. ​
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required. 1-3 years of experience in scheduling, dispatching, logistics, order management, customer service, or a related field preferred. Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Strong customer service and communication skills. Professional and collaborative demeanor.
