We are looking for an organized, dependable, and experienced Shipping Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse shipping office. This position will coordinate shipping activities, manage documentation and data entry, communicate with carriers and customers, and help ensure orders are processed accurately and shipped on schedule. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and able to effectively coordinate between warehouse personnel, drivers, carriers, customers, and management. Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the shipping office. Oversee scheduled inbound and outbound shipments. Prepare bills of lading, packing slips, shipping labels, and other required documentation. Communicate with carriers, drivers, customers, vendors, and internal departments regarding shipments. Track shipments and resolve delays, discrepancies, damages, and other transportation issues. Enter and maintain accurate shipping and inventory information in warehouse or transportation management systems. Verify orders, quantities, weights, and shipping information prior to release. Maintain organized records of shipments, paperwork, and carrier documentation. Monitor shipping schedules and ensure orders are processed within required timeframes. Assist with coordinating warehouse priorities and dock activities. Supervise, train, and support shipping office staff as needed. Ensure company shipping procedures and safety requirements are followed. Investigate shipping discrepancies and work with appropriate departments to resolve issues. Prepare shipping reports and provide updates to management. Assist with continuous improvement of warehouse and shipping processes. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in warehouse shipping, logistics, transportation, or a related field. Previous supervisory or management experience preferred. Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook. Experience with warehouse management. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work effectively with warehouse employees, drivers, customers, and management. High school diploma or equivalent required.
