Printer Brothers is seeking an experienced, organized, and hands-on Shipping Manager to oversee our daily shipping operations at our Reno/Sparks warehouse. We are a growing e-commerce company specializing in refurbished printers, scanners, electronics, and industrial equipment. We ship orders nationwide through marketplaces including Amazon, eBay, Walmart, and our own website. The Shipping Manager will be responsible for managing the shipping team, ensuring orders are packed accurately and shipped on time, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining an efficient and organized shipping department. Responsibilities Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the shipping department Lead, train, and hold shipping employees accountable for performance and accuracy Ensure all customer orders are picked, packed, labeled, and shipped accurately and on time Prioritize daily shipments based on carrier deadlines and shipping service levels Coordinate shipments through UPS, FedEx, USPS, freight carriers, and other transportation providers Manage both small-parcel shipments and larger palletized/freight shipments Verify shipping addresses, order information, weights, dimensions, and shipping methods Ensure products are packaged properly to prevent damage during transit Monitor outgoing shipments and resolve shipping delays, lost packages, damages, and carrier issues Maintain shipping supplies and ensure necessary boxes, packing materials, pallets, labels, and other materials are available Help establish and improve shipping procedures to increase efficiency and reduce errors Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shipping area Work closely with inventory, warehouse, customer service, and management teams Assist with shipping-related marketplace requirements for Amazon, eBay, Walmart, and other sales channels Track shipping errors, damages, late shipments, and other key performance issues Identify problems within the shipping process and implement solutions Assist with loading and unloading shipments when necessary Perform other warehouse and operations duties as needed Qualifications Previous shipping, warehouse, logistics, or fulfillment experience required Previous supervisory or management experience strongly preferred Experience with UPS, FedEx, USPS, and freight shipping preferred Familiarity with shipping software, inventory systems, and e-commerce order management systems preferred Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Comfortable managing and holding employees accountable Ability to communicate effectively with employees, management, customers, and carriers Basic computer skills and ability to learn new warehouse and inventory software Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to regularly lift and move packages weighing up to approximately 50 lbs

Pay:

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
