Warehouse Manager

Description Chris Preble from Robert Half is working with a Binghamton client of his that has been growing a lot. This is a newly created Warehouse Manager role to lead operational activities. This position is 1st shift - daytime working hours. 8:30 am - 5pm. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong background in managing production support, distribution, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will champion efficiency, ensure quality standards, and foster a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations to meet goals related to productivity, quality, and service standards.
• Develop and implement strategies to streamline workflows and improve overall efficiency.
• Manage staffing, equipment, and materials to support operational objectives effectively.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and company policies.
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and enhance operational outcomes.
• Foster a workplace culture focused on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability and address basic troubleshooting needs.
• Drive initiatives to optimize logistics, warehouse management, and operational workflows.
• Coordinate production and distribution activities to meet business demands. Requirements
• Proven experience in operations or warehouse management with a focus on process improvement.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
• Knowledge of logistics, inventory control, and distribution processes.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and quality standards within a warehouse environment.
