Proven warehouse or logistics management experience Forklift operation experience with valid certification (or ability to obtain) Experience with fleet management and vehicle maintenance coordination Hands-on small equipment repair and basic mechanical skills Strong driving skills, including trucks and trailers; able to safely back trailers Experience with snow plowing or plow-equipped vehicles (preferred) Strong leadership and team management skills Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) Familiar with safety regulations and equipment handling procedures Strong organizational, record-keeping, and documentation skills Ability to manage maintenance schedules and logs Strong problem-solving and communication abilities High school diploma or equivalent

Core Responsibilities:

Oversee inventory, stock tracking, cycle counts, and audits Manage receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping operations Ensure accurate, timely order fulfillment Supervise, schedule, and train warehouse staff (including forklift certification) Operate and maintain forklifts and warehouse equipment Enforce safety standards; lead monthly trainings and annual safety reviews Oversee fleet/vehicle maintenance, repairs, and service scheduling Perform or coordinate minor equipment repairs and vendor servicing Safely operate company vehicles, trailers, and yard equipment as needed Monitor vehicle usage, fuel efficiency, and operational performance Maintain accurate records (inventory, shipping, maintenance, safety logs) Resolve discrepancies, damages, and delays Optimize warehouse layout, workflow, and space utilization Track and report KPIs (efficiency, accuracy, turnaround times)
