This energetic position offers the opportunity to work with a variety of tools, machinery, and materials, contributing directly to the production of area rugs and other flooring products. We are seeking motivated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to develop their managerial skills while ensuring safety and precision at every step. Duties Operate power tools, hand tools,sewing / binding machines, cutting machines and other fabrication equipment to shape and create flooring products. Read and interpret drawings to ensure accurate fabrication according to specifications Use measuring instruments to verify dimensions. Receive in deliveries / goods and update inventory in our system. Inspect the goods and confirm they are first quality. Assist with organizing materials for installations the next day. Review plans and assist with cutting materials. Confirm the schedule for installers and clients Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Requirements Prior experience working in manufacturing environments involving broadloom. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools,binding / sewing machines, seaming irons, and driving a hi-low. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
