Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Night Shift Yard Manager to oversee and manage our night loading operations. This role is critical to ensuring that all materials are accurately verified, staged, and loaded for next-day delivery. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong organizational skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to motivate and manage a team in a fast-paced outdoor environment. Key Responsibilities Lead by example while managing a team of 10-20 verifiers and loaders. Oversee the gathering, staging, verification, and loading of materials onto flatbed tractor-trailers. Ensure all orders are processed accurately and efficiently according to truck manifests. Send daily reports regarding backordered materials and shift productivity. Maintain an organized yard and monitor material flow throughout the shift. Work closely with Yard, Distribution, and Transportation Managers/Supervisors. Hold team members accountable for performance, accuracy, attendance, and safety. Perform additional duties as necessary to ensure smooth department operations. Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including rain, sleet, snow, and heat. Lift up to 50 lbs. as needed. Work six days per week, including Saturdays. Requirements 3-5 years of successful management experience in a similar warehouse, yard, distribution, or loading environment. High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred. Minimum of 3 years of forklift experience required. Strong leadership and communication skills. Highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and able to hold employees accountable. Proficient in data entry and Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word. Ability to work effectively with multiple departments. Bilingual is a plus. Work Environment & Physical Demands Majority of work is performed outdoors. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Jeans and work boots required.

Schedule:

Six days per week, including Saturdays.

Night shift hours:
