This is a hands-on leadership position. The Warehouse Manager will be expected to actively train and develop new warehouse and forklift operators and, when operational needs require it, step in and operate material-handling equipment alongside the team. A major focus of this position is ensuring that the correct product, correct lot number, correct quantity, and correct customer shipment come together every time.

Lead, train, develop, and manage warehouse employees Provide hands-on training and onboarding for new warehouse employees and forklift operators, ensuring they understand equipment operation, warehouse procedures, safety expectations, product handling, and food safety requirements Serve as a working warehouse leader who is willing and able to operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment during peak periods, unusual circumstances, employee absences, or other situations where additional operational support is needed Oversee daily warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory, and logistics activities Establish and monitor operational goals for productivity, accuracy, quality, and customer service Maintain strong inventory accuracy and product traceability Coordinate order fulfillment and shipping schedules Improve warehouse workflows, processes, product handling, and storage systems Evaluate warehouse space utilization, staffing needs, equipment layouts, and material flow Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce errors Manage forklift and warehouse equipment utilization Help develop and improve warehouse procedures as our operation continues to grow Partner with Production, Quality, Customer Service, Purchasing, and other departments to keep products moving efficiently Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and professional warehouse environment Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, food safety, quality, and workplace safety requirements What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who can both lead people and improve processes . This position is best suited for a leader who is comfortable being visible on the warehouse floor, coaching employees directly, training new operators, and stepping into the operation when needed rather than managing solely from an office.
Qualified candidates should have:
Five or more years of warehouse experience, including experience managing hourly employees OR An Associate's degree or equivalent education in logistics, supply chain, warehouse management, or a related field Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory control, shipping, and receiving Demonstrated leadership and employee-development skills Experience training, coaching, or qualifying forklift and warehouse equipment operators preferred Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment Ability to communicate effectively with employees, management, and other departments Experience providing clear coaching and performance feedback Experience operating forklifts and the ability to maintain appropriate forklift qualifications Willingness and ability to personally operate forklift equipment when business conditions require additional hands-on support Experience using computerized Warehouse Management Systems and handheld scanning technology Fishbowl Software/WMS experience is a plus Proficiency with Microsoft Office Food manufacturing or other regulated manufacturing experience is strongly preferred Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basisWhy This Opportunity Is Different We are a growing company , which means this position has the opportunity to become increasingly important as our operation expands. Work Environment This position works across office, warehouse, and food manufacturing environments. The role requires regular walking and standing and may include working around moving equipment and in areas that may be warm, cold, wet, or noisy.
