COO We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead daily warehouse and production operations, support a collaborative team, improve workflows, and help ensure orders are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time. What You'll Do In this role, you will manage day-to-day warehouse and production activities, including receiving, inventory, picking, packing, kitting, assembly, and shipping. This is a hands-on working manager position overseeing a core team of approximately three full-time employees, with temporary labor added as needed to support production volume. Key Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate daily warehouse and production activities, including receiving, inventory, picking, packing, kitting, assembly, and shipping.
- Supervise, train, coach, and develop warehouse and production employees while fostering a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Work directly alongside the team and assist in all areas of the operation as needed.
- Plan staffing and workflow, including coordinating temporary labor to meet changing production demands.
- Evaluate and optimize warehouse floor plan, storage locations, product flow, workstations, and material movement to maximize space utilization, efficiency, and safety.
- Develop, document, implement, and continuously improve warehouse and production processes and best practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, workflow, labor utilization, and overall efficiency.
- Establish and monitor operational KPIs, including productivity, inventory accuracy, order accuracy, labor utilization, and on-time completion.
- Use ERP, warehouse, inventory, and other business systems to manage operations, maintain accurate records, and improve visibility and efficiency.
- Maintain effective inventory control and quality assurance processes.
- Identify and resolve operational issues and implement corrective actions.
- Work cross-functionally with Customer Service, Order Operations, Purchasing, Sales, and other departments to resolve issues and keep orders moving.
- Help establish and maintain a safe, clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
- Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned. What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse, production, fulfillment, or operations, including leadership or supervisory responsibility.
- Demonstrated experience implementing process improvements and improving operational efficiency.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, production workflow, warehouse layout, and order fulfillment.
- Experience with ERP, WMS, inventory, or order management systems; strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems.
- Experience using data and performance measures to manage and improve operations.
- Experience managing temporary or variable labor is preferred.
- Experience in the branded merchandise, promotional products, apparel, fulfillment, or related industry is a plus.
- Knowledge of screen printing, embroidery, kitting, or assembly is preferred. Skills That Will Help You Succeed
