The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for the supervision of our team to ensure all requirements are met processing and shipping customer orders.
Job Duties:
Oversee both receiving inbound and preparing outbound shipments. Direct the team to ensure they maintain and organize warehouse space, storing inventory items and maintaining stock bins in an orderly and accessible manner. Oversee packing and unpacking of shipments, conducting inventory checks of items. Supervise the operations involved with pulling, preparing and shipping orders as needed. Train employees on the operation of various warehouse equipment and various processes and procedures. Order pulling inventory control. Responsible for hiring, directing, evaluating, team members. Manage warehouse materials, e.g. shipping cartons, supplies, racks, etc. Work with sales department on any shipping/receiving discrepancies and related billings. Ensure safety measures and policies are enforced. Can operate all warehouse machinery, e.g. tow motor, lift Can lift up to 60 lbs. Works closely with purchasing.
Qualifications:
10 years previous Warehouse Operations Management experience. Ability to adjust to a flexible working environment Ability to work in a team environment and lead by example Understanding of shipping methods, UPS, Fedex, Size and weight limits etc. Complete understanding of warehouse optimization practices.
