Duties Manage daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, materials handling, and order fulfillment to meet company goals. Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, supervisors, and material handlers to achieve high performance standards. Oversee inventory management systems and conduct regular audits to maintain accuracy and prevent stock discrepancies. Implement process improvements utilizing lean management principles to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and streamline workflows. Operate or supervise the operation of forklifts, RF scanners, and other material handling equipment safely and effectively. Coordinate logistics activities with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to ensure timely delivery and distribution. Enforce safety protocols in accordance with OSHA regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all team members. Utilize Microsoft Office tools and warehouse management systems such as AS400 or similar platforms for reporting and documentation. Oversee shipping & receiving processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and customer requirements. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse operations aligned with company objectives. Qualifications Proven experience managing warehouse distribution, logistics, or supply chain operations within a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership skills with experience supervising teams in a warehouse or distribution center setting. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems, and OSHAs safety standards. Ability to operate or supervise the operation of forklifts, heavy lifting equipment, and material handling tools safely. Excellent managerial communication skills to coordinate teams effectively and implement process improvements. Knowledge of lean management principles applied within warehousing or distribution center operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) for reporting purposes. Experience working with e-commerce platforms or 3PL providers is preferred. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and materials handling procedures. Warehouse supervisor experience combined with a solid understanding of shipping & receiving protocols is highly desirable.
