Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Piano Mover / Manager to oversee the safe and efficient transportation of pianos and large musical instruments. This role combines hands-on moving expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring that each move is executed with precision, safety, and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong warehouse experience, commercial driving skills, and a passion for delivering top-tier service. As a Lead Piano Mover / Manager, you will coordinate logistics, supervise moving teams, and maintain adherence to all safety and traffic regulations while providing outstanding support to our clients. Responsibilities Lead the planning and execution of piano moves, ensuring safe handling and transportation of delicate instruments Supervise a team of movers, providing training on manual handling, heavy lifting, and proper use of material handling equipment such as pallet jacks Drive box trucks or personal vehicles for delivery and pickup routes, adhering strictly to DOT regulations and traffic laws Load and unload pianos using manual handling techniques, ensuring safe lifting practices at all times Coordinate with clients to schedule appointments, provide updates on move progress, and deliver excellent customer service throughout the process Operate material handling equipment safely, including pallet jacks and other warehouse tools, while maintaining warehouse operations standards Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, route details, and safety inspections.
